Purposes and legal bases
The service processes data required to provide the service, ensure safety and support moderation. Optional analytics, marketing or future AI processing must have an appropriate legal basis and specific information before activation.
Newsletter
The newsletter is optional and based solely on your consent. Matchin records the date, source and version of that consent. You may withdraw it at any time from your account or through the link in each newsletter without affecting emails required for the service or its security.
Recipients
Access is limited to authorized people and providers essential for hosting, databases, email delivery and media storage. Their list, location and transfer safeguards must be finalized before public launch.
Retention
Data is retained for as long as necessary for each purpose. Detailed periods for messages, reports, logs, backups and deleted accounts must be published before public launch.

You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection or restriction through settings or by writing to matchin.app.support@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
Security and incidents
Matchin applies access controls, abuse limits, security logging and infrastructure-provided encryption. As no system is infallible, incidents are assessed and notified in accordance with applicable obligations.

Recommendations and moderation tools may use automated rules. Any decision producing a significant effect must provide understandable information and, where required, human intervention or a way to contest it.
